It's been a while since I gone and f_... oh wait, that's a Staind song, but yes, it's been a while since we've had an update here, but it's all for good reason. We were recording our EP and finally finished. It was a long process since we were all very busy saving lives in remote villages of Nepal, but now that that's taken care of, it's ON.

Hitting the studio this week. · 9-26-2010We had a great time playing CAMP Awesome - the atmosphere was so positive and all of the people were GREAT. We're also glad that everyone seemed to enjoy our tunes.
In unrelated news, we're going into the studio to record our first EP! We'll be recording at Dfab Studios in South Park. This will be a huge week for us and hopefully we'll be able to get the disc out as soon as possible. For now, keep your ears to the ground for our next show.

Post show wrap up. · 9-16-2010
Well, that show went super well! There was a pretty good turnout and we want to make sure and thank all the guys over at Tabe BBQ for having us there and letting us play to our little heart's content. We got great feedback from everyone who thought that it was going to be somewhat of a trainwreck, but were very pleasantly surprised.
We also have new videos up on the Youtube! They are, wait for it, HD! Yep I said it and they're awesome.
To everyone that was there supporting us on Tuesday at our first show, thanks again for coming and don't forget to find us on facebook to see and/or upload pics you guys took.

We got an upgrade! · 9-03-2010So just when you thought that Jaws Went Swimming couldn't get any better, we just did. That's right. We have an awesome new website which, if you're reading this, you already know that. You don't have to tell me how pretty it is because I already know. The bags under my eyes from three nights of not sleeping to get this done also appreciate your admiration of it.
We have drummer tryouts tomorrow, so who knows, we might end up being a full band in t-minus less than 24 hours. That would be GREAT! Not only for us, but for you, since you'd be one step closer to a million dollars! Or rather listening to ear candy.
So I know that you haven't heard our music yet, but then again, millions (possibly billions) of people bought an ipad before seeing the thing .. so the LEAST you could do is click one of those buttons down there and keep up to date with us because let's face it, you're going to love us eventually.

While Sean was jetsetting up in San Francisco this week, Gregg and Arturo got together and hashed out a couple more songs. This album sure seems to be taking shape and hopefully we'll start to have songs for you to check out soon enough. Stay tuned.

Whoah no way! Here's our first news update! · 8-23-2010Well, as you can see, the website is under way! Yes, feel free to say "awesome" along with me. Ready? 1...2....3... nope, I never said when.
Anyhow, everything is going well so far. We have a good list of songs that we're finalizing and doing our best to record. Also, we're looking for a drummer. Some prospects, but definitely in need of that magical kickdrum and snare to fill out the rest of the sound.
Love is a strong word, but we do love you. By "you" of course, we mean eachother and no one else.

The great minds at Jaws went swimming met like most bands nowadays: at a Nada Surf concert. After promising the boys on stage that in fact, yes, they WERE going to have a party [you get points for understanding that reference], they agreed to get together to see if their music could bring them internet riches beyond their wildest dreams. And so, the end of music as we know it was born.

Gregg O'ConnellGregg is the former Singer/Songwriter of the The Predicates. He began playing guitar at 14 and then began his musical stardom with The Predicates at 21. The Predicates put out 4 self-released albums and peaked when being nominated for a San Diego Music Award for "Best Pop Album" in 2009.
After a tough break with The Predicates in late 2009 Gregg took a year off of music to enjoy life. After meeting Art and Sean at a San Diego Nada Surf show in 2010, Gregg's thirst for music and performing became insatiable. The juice that Art and Sean have provided for Gregg's thirst have been quenched with beautiful 4 chord songs and elegant little delights born to conquer the sea floor and rain from the sky. Arturo RuvalcabaGuitarist of over a decade, Arturo picked up the bass after months of debate and immediately fell in love with it. With his lead-guitar background, he manages to push basslines past the root-note accompaniments into a self sustaining sound.
Drummer for Squeeky and Lupe (RIP 2007) and current guitarist for the acoustic duo Pharsteper, with the critically acclaimed Stephen Su, Arturo keeps busy exploring and pushing his musical limits.

Sean FloresWho is this guy? All I really know is that his eyes are magestic. Have any of you actually seen a unicorn? HA! What kind of question is that? Of course you haven't. Do you know why? It's because they are all located in this man's iriss.. er.. irisies... sigh... both of his eyes. He plays guitar with the fury of Big Pun squirming to dismount the motorcycle in the Not a Playa video. His dog Cammie is pretty awesome too. She's our first groupie and what can I say .. for a weiner dog, she sure gets around.

Mike EdwardsRiddle: What do you get when you give an ex-Navy Seal candidate a pair of sticks and tell him to hit things? Well, you get a magnificent blend of power and endurance. Born in New York, Mike moved to and from San Diego until finally making it his home. He added that little extra kick that the band needed to fill out the sound and make it the powerhouse that it was meant to be.
Due to his monstrous size and despite referring to himself as a 'Teddy Bear', we're all still pretty terrified to kick him out of the band for fear of retribution. So consider him the newest part of the team.
